Lillian’s gift

So true…..thanksgiving for every passing moment is a gift.
Five weeks ago today my sweet grandmother (98) passed away. To my knowledge she was always thankful and never rushed through the day. She knew about this amazing aspect of knowing God. As her body was slowing to an end I remained with her all night. Early in the am the nurses said it would only be a few more hours. I walked out into a glorious morning asking God what to do with all of this, although I knew it was her time…..what do I do with this and he clearly said be thankful, praise God. I shared this with my family. We all need to be grateful for her time here, her life and this very experience, that her time here was fulfilled.. One week ago a dear friend gave me the book, validating my answer…be grateful and praise Him in all things.
