Eucharisteo

This was from a caringbridge post I made during my chemo, before I read this book.  Thought about it this weekend:

TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 16, 2010 11:57 AM, CST
Late at night, little mouse nibbles of crackers and pure, sweet water tasted as sweet as Communion.  Yesterday was a day on which we’ll draw the curtains, no one needs all those details, including me, and I was living them.

Having said that, a nice, quiet morning, visiting with my mother and daddy, precious souls, no intrusive procedures, so, a day for my body to recoup.

Also, good news, the first little monocytes are appearing like the swallows at Capistrano.  Very good new indeed.  The docs still haven’t been here, so there may be more news later today.

Blessings to you all, thankful to you for your faithfulness in our Lord Christ Jesus who taught us to pray for one another.
