Discovering all of my gifts

Because I was diagnosed when I was 45 with three devastating auto-immune diseases, I had pretty much given up having any hope, or gratitude for anything in my life.  I was simply waiting for my life to be finished.  Your book was recommended by a friend and has helped me to see that by acknowledging the gifts we have right in this moment, it makes it easier to see all of our many gifts every day.  My life has changed.  I am no longer waiting for my time on this earth to end, but rather taking life, minute by minute, and looking for the next gift from God.  I’m now 51 and feel as though I am alive for the first time in many, many years.  I’m working on my 1000 gifts list, but I know there will be more at the end of that list.
