I’m thankiful that for my daughter Emile’ who told me about this lovely book, all written in imagery and lyrical prose – so comforting to read and ponder. My daughter is also my friend. I love to talk to her almost every day and hear about her world and how the babies are doing . . . she is a caring, wise mother who has fallen in love with Sophie and Leo much like I fell in love with her and her sisters . . . love multiplies through the generations when we embrace it. I am thankful for Em, for her sisters, and for the blonde boy and Miss Sophie and Mr. Leo, and for all the men in our lives who love and cherish our family of women.
